The North Texas Region of TXUSAW proudly presents the Cotton Bowl National Wrestling Tournament and the Cotton Bowl Rookie National Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, January 9, 2010. This is quickly becoming one of the premier wrestling events in the country so don’t miss out on it this year!

Additionally, CageFighter will be selling other merchandise in their vendor booth in our Exhibit section of the event. There will be a Most Outstanding Wrestler Award given for each OPEN Division, which our traditional Texas style large belt buckles. OPEN Division Medals will be awarded for placements of 1st-6th. ROOKIE Division Medals will be awarded for placements of 1st-4th.

This year’s event will be held at the beautiful new facility, Fieldhouse USA Sports Center, in Frisco Texas. It is conveniently located near many restaurants as well as our event’s official hotel, Comfort Inn. The hotel is offering an exclusive rate of $69.99 per night, so be sure to let them know you are associated with the  Cotton Bowl Wrestling Tournament.

In addition to wrestling, we will have many exhibitors present with their various products and services for you to check out in between wrestling matches. Our  major sponsor,  CageFighter will have booths with apparel and merchandise for sale. There will be many other vendors as well with things ranging from nutritional items to costume jewelry.

All wrestlers are required to Pre-Register through Track Wrestling. Registration will be open from now through Jan. 5, 2010 at 12:00 CST Noon. NOTE: TEXAS COACHES CAN REGISTER USING TXUSAW YOUTH ENTRY SYSTEM then entries will be imported into TrackWreslting upon close of registration.

This is a USA Wrestling Sanctioned Event and hence all coaches, wrestlers and officials are required to have a USA Wrestling Card.

Coaches must be certified with a Copper level or above. Additionally, we ask that all coaches have their credentials in view by wearing it on a lanyard style necklace of some sort.
