RULES: Texas Modified National High School Federation School Rules (minimum rest between matches and maximum number of matches in a day not in effect). Hair code & fingernails will be enforced by referees. Hair cover (if required) must be with wrestler at weigh-in. Head gear required for ALL.

FEE: $35.00 per OPEN entry & $25.00 ROOKIE. All entries must be pre-paid. Wrestler may enter only one weight class and only one age group. No refunds!
FORMAT: Folkstyle. Double Elimination. No seeding. Challenge for second format. Referee decisions final. All protests to be directed to tournament directors. All age protests must be made before final match on protested wrestler’s first day of wrestling. Birth certificates must be available if requested by tournament officials. TIME PERIODS: OPEN Division Tots and Division I - 1 Minute, Division III - V - 1.5 Minutes. ALL ROOKIE Divisions are 1 minute. Consolations & Hard Luck Matches will be 1-1-1. Overtime – NFHS rules.
AWARDS: OPEN Division 1st through 6th. ROOKIE Division 1ST through 4TH. OPEN Tournament Champions receive CageFighter shorts. MOW for each OPEN Division will receive a Texas style Belt Buckle.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
WEIGH-INS: At the Allen Event Center as follows:
- All Rookies and Tots, Friday January 13th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Open Wrestlers, Friday January 13th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- You must make weight in competition singlet.
WRESTLING SCHEDULE:
Session 1 – 6:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m., Friday January 13th.
Begin wrestling for all Rookies and Tots.
Session 2 – 8:00 a.m. to approximately Noon, Saturday January 14th
Completion of Rookie and Tot brackets.
Begin wrestling for Open wrestlers Divisions 1,2,3,4 and 5
Session 3 - 1:00 p.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m., Saturday January 14th
Completion of open brackets.
Begin hard-luck tournament as brackets allow.
Note: Open wrestlers may or may not get a break between Sessions 2 & 3
CHILD ABUSE, ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, ETC. WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL BE DEALT WITH SEVERELY.
This is A National Tournament, So Absolutely No Late Entries Or Phone-Ins Will Be Accepted. This event is growing at a rapid pace so entries will be limited to the first 2,000. Don’t get left out!
SPECIAL GUESTS: We are excited to announce that Brandon Slay (US Freestyle Resident Coach) will be our special guest for the tournament. Coach Slay will be conducted multiple clinics during the tournament and will also be available for all the award presentations.
